IN FOCUS / HOMR · SEPTEMBER 18–24

Somewhere to return.
Something to build on.

HOMR proposes a network for autonomous docking, charging, recovery, and coordination. This week, we are opening the design conversation around the return: what should a useful docking point make easier?

Explore the original concept, then bring your perspective. Tess’s full portfolio continues below.

THE CARE COLLECTION / CONCEPT STUDIES

Closer to a person.
Connected to their care.

Tess’s wearable proposals begin with different lives and different needs. Explore the original studies, from a hospital bedside to everyday sensory support.

01 / GUARDIAN BAND

A clearer picture
at the bedside.

The Guardian presentation proposes a single-patient-use hospital wearable paired with a clinical dashboard. Its design brings patient signals, notifications, and care-team review into one connected concept.

Explore the intended care journey
  1. A band stays with one patient during their care.
  2. The proposed dashboard brings readings into view.
  3. Care teams interpret the information and decide what follows.

These are design intentions. Clinical performance, approvals, and availability are not established by these illustrations.

02 / MERCY BAND

Support that makes room
for the individual.

A wearable concept exploring sensory and emotional support. The supplied study brings personalization and caregiver connection into the design conversation.

MERCY BAND / COMFORT, CHOICE & CONNECTION

Room to breathe.
Support that fits you.

Tess’s Mercy Band study imagines everyday support shaped around the person wearing it: a choice of textures, calming prompts, and connections to people they trust.

The original presentation places dignity, consent, and personalization at the center. Its invitation is to explore what helps each person feel supported.

An original concept by Tess / Tereo AI Technologies.

COMPASS / A BRIGHTER PATH

A direction.
A connection.
A place to belong.

COMPASS brings children and caregivers into the center of Tess’s vision. The proposal connects guidance, support, and community, with technology serving the relationships around a child.
